What it is

A grammar for saying where a claim sits before arguing about whether it is true. DAG-OR gives an observation an address across explicit dimensions, so two people disagreeing can find out whether they are disagreeing about the same thing.

Why an address

Most classification arguments are really arguments about which axis somebody is standing on. Once the axes are named and an observation has coordinates on each, the disagreement either resolves or becomes a specific one — and a specific disagreement is worth having.

Where the work is

The standard, the classification decision protocol and the papers are all deposited with DOIs, so a citation points at a version rather than a website that may have changed.
