What it is

The blink version of TAG. One player is IT — lunge to tag, dash to dodge, on an open arena where spacing and timing decide it. Bait a lunge, slip it with a dash, then counter-tag. And watch the edge: dash out of bounds and you tag yourself.

Reads, not proximity

It is not click-when-you-are-close. Both players have a commit — the lunge and the dash, and each of them costs something, so the round turns on which one you spend first. Whoever is holding IT when the 90-second clock hits zero loses it.

The room calls it out

Every round the room names what just happened out loud: SLAP JACK, MATADOR, HUMAN SHIELD, FLAT EARTHER. Survive, tag and dodge enough and you climb a title ladder that remembers how you play.
